About Us

We are thrilled to be offering classes at the Dance Guild again!

The Dance Guild at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, formerly known as the Children's Dance Guild, is an organization dedicated to providing the opportunity for children to learn creative movement and the art of dance. It has a long history of offering affordable dance classes to Lafayette and the surrounding community.

Our goal is to provide professional level classes to every child or adult who wants to learn to dance. There are no recital or costume fees, only an informal showing for family and friends at the conclusion of the sessions.

The Guild provides tuition scholarships to children with financial need and also provides valuable teacher training for UL Lafayette Performing Arts Majors with a concentration in Dance.
