Youth Workshop (Ages 8 - 14 years old) - CANCELLED LOW ENROLLMENT

Youth Workshop is a unique class that fuels and energizes the mind and body of young movers. Through different styles of commercial dance, movers will begin class with a thorough warm-up, including isolations of the body, stretch and strengthening exercises, and progress into across the floor with turns, leaps, and jumps. Combinations will be taught through the different styles of jazz dance; traditional jazz dance, lyrical, and hip hop. Through improvisational work, students will compile movement learned throughout the 12-weeks and create a dance for showing on the last day of the session.
